The Rice University Sport Business Alliance hosted the "NCAA Athletic Director Forum" on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. at Rice University. Over 170 attended the talk and discussed topics such as Conference realignment, Media Rights, and the Sports Industry as a whole. The crowd consisted of Sport Management students, Sport Industry executives, and invited guests.
The panel included Chris Plonsky from University of Texas, Tim Fitzpatrick from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and Rice University’s Rick Greenspan. Fred Washington was not able to attend.
The Rice University Sport Business Alliance (RUSBA) is a student-run organization whose mission is to create awareness and valuable opportunities for the students of the Sport Management Program at Rice University. Rice seniors Ashten Ackerman and Sam Shainsky will moderate the event.
