George Foreman III announced that he is opening a third EverybodyFights (EBF) Gym with this one being located in Manhattan, New York. EverybodyFights combines the grit of a traditional boxing gym and the upscale amenities of today's trendy workout facilities.
“Since day one, we always wanted to franchise. It was always our goal,” Foreman said. “So when we built the first gym, we wanted to build it like a franchise, thinking of the colors, fonts, tag lines, all of that. Every decision we made was to prepare us to be a national brand, and to think for millions of people, not just one gym in Boston.”
EverybodyFights was founded by Foreman III, a 2006 Sport Management graduate and son of the two-time heavyweight champion, George Foreman Sr.
Upon graduating from Rice, Foreman III began to pursue his career in boxing and wrapped up his professional career with a perfect 16-0 record. As he was still passionate about boxing, Foreman decided to open his first EverybodyFights gym in South Boston, MA in 2014. He opened a second Boston location in February 2017. They received the best gyms award by Boston Magazine, BostonInno and Phoenix Magazine. Foreman III was also recently named the best fitness guru in Boston for 2016.
“We live by the notion that fighting is not a sport; it’s a spirit, Foreman said. “It’s the spirit that reminds us of our champion nature. This is what EverybodyFights is all about. Challenges are what make us ‘Fighters.’ They either break our soul or build us up.”
The NYC gym will be 7,000-square-feet and located in the heart of Manhattan on Madison Avenue. The new location will feature three studios in one, with a focus on the following EverybodyFights Classrooms: BAGS, BODY, ROAD and TRAIN. There are over 130 classes a week including self-defense, yoga, cycling, and boxing technique. Access to pre-sale memberships and more information about the NYC gym is available on the EverybodyFights website.
