Christopher Douglas '09 is one of only 13 recipients nationwide of a postgraduate scholarship from the NCAA Ethnic Minority Enhancement Program. The program is designed to provide funding for former student-athletes who intend to continue their academic career en route to a career in athletics.
In addition to being a full-time student, Douglas also serves as a youth mentor for Yellowstone Academy and a Career Prep Fellow for Management Leadership for Tomorrow. Previously Douglas was an intern for the Houston Aeros professional hockey team and a volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club in both Fort Worth and Houston.
Douglas, a former member of the Owls football team, is currently applying to graduate schools and will begin classes this summer or fall.
