The Sport Management 366 Event and Facilities class spent this semester working very closely with the Houston Dynamo Soccer team. The class worked many home matches, doing anything from sponsor activation to consumer satisfaction. The students were able to see how a professional sporting event is put together, from start to finish, most of which is not even seen by the everyday fan.
As a thank you for all of their hard work, the Dynamo invited the class for an evening of fun and bowling at Lucky Strike, located in the Houston Pavilion downtown. The Dynamo and Rice Sport Management continue to work together and look forward to more opportunities in the future.
