Anastasia and Victoria Smirnova '22 spent their summer in Kentucky gaining valuable experience working as marketing and media interns with Global Golf Management Inc. (GGM), a worldwide sports event management company. Founded in 1989, GGM has successfully staged more than 1,000+ events on five continents. GGM currently provides consultation, management, and tournament operations service for over 40 professional golf events across the globe.
In their role as marketing and media interns, the Smirnova twins helped promote the 2021 Barbasol Championship, were coordinators for the Executive Women's Day and in charge of Alumni Day! They were also in charge of the opening and closing ceremony script for the week-long event. The Smirnova twins made such a positive impression that they have both been invited back to Kentucky for the 2022 event!
