As a new year at Rice University begins, the sport management program returns 63 declared students. Those returning back to Rice bring with them vast experience from a variety of internships across the country and even overseas. From working for the first time with the Florida Gators, Shanghai Sharks, or the Houston Rockets, to completing a second year with Under Armor – Rice students have continued to make their mark on the sport management industry outside of the school year.
In addition to returning students, the sport management program is eager to welcome new students from the largest matriculating class in Rice history. This year, the sport management program hopes to come closer to fulfilling the great number of internships offered to the Rice sport management program annually.
With great enthusiasm, the sport management program continues to create an identity in the sport business community. The sport management program at Rice University strives to provide the best opportunities to all the Rice students.
