Jimmy Comerota has been named to the 2010 Conference USA All-Academic Baseball Team. To be named to the All-Academic Team a student-athlete must obtain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better, be a starter or a key reserve for their respective teams. Jimmy has once again shown his dedication to sport and the academic rigors of Rice University.
This is the third time Comerota has been named to the CUSA All-Academic Team as a double major in Sport Management and Economics. With a 3.4 cumulative GPA Jimmy has also received honors from CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VI honoree, and is also a three time selection to Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Jimmy Comerota is an outstanding student with exceptional character. His abilities to stand out as a double major student-athlete is impressive while starting for the nationally competitive Rice Owls Baseball team.
