Rice football players and Sport Management majors James Casey and Andrew Sendejo have been named to the 2008 Conference USA Football All-Academic Team.
Casey, who was previously named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America second team, carries a 3.84 grade point average and is triple majoring in Sport Management, Economics, and Managerial Studies while also pursuing a minor in Business.
Sendejo, who was named to the All-Academic Team for the second consecutive year, is a Sport Management major with a 3.59 grade point average.
