In late February, 18 student-athletes at Rice University were honored at the 28th¬†Scholar-Athlete Banquet, presented by the ‚ÄúR‚ÄĚ Association and the Office of Academic Advising for Athletics. The 2014 Scholar Athletes had the highest GPAs on their respective teams.
Christian Villescas ‚Äô16, a double major in Sport Management and Mechanical Engineering at Rice University, was a management assistant intern at the recent Houston Marathon, helping plan for the event from last October up to the race day in January.
