Sport Management is an interdisciplinary field of study that focuses on the business attributes of sports such as: management, analytics, law, marketing, finance, and communication. A sport management degree prepares students for careers with amateur, collegiate and professional sports organizations.
The internship is a critical part of the learning experience for sport management majors. A minimum of 6 credit hours of internship is required, however, most majors complete an average of 9 credit hours.
