Michael Sam Jr. ’15: A Triple-Impact Competitor

Michael Sam Jr. ’15, a Rice University student majoring in Sport Management and a former Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship winner, was chosen as the keynote speaker at the PCA Houston’s Triple-Impact Competitor Awards Ceremony in October 2014. After his speech was made, more than $12,500 was donated to PCA.

Sport Management Students to Law School and Beyond

After obtaining their degrees from Rice, several students who majored in Sport Management have gone on to law school. Four of these students have received their J.D. and are currently working in the sport industry.

Megan Shepard ’13 Gets in the Swing of Things as Tournament Manager at TPC San Antonio

Megan Shepard '13, a Rice graduate who majored in Sport Management, has been named the new tournament manager at the Tournament Players Club (TPC) San Antonio, which is operated by the PGA Tour.
